MY STORY
“Hard times carve best of a man”
Present and future growth depends
on lessons learnt from past and I can testify to this fact, my experiences have
been a testimony to how I identified and accepted challenges and how I used
them as opportunity to elevate my educational awareness, knowledge and skills.
In 2012 after passing X standard I
shifted to Bokaro for senior secondary schooling and was staying with my
cousins, I had opted for PCM. Initially when academic session commenced, I was
facing issues in mathematics and to resolve those I contacted teachers and
classmates, still I could not resolve them.
Once I asked my cousin a calculus
question, he tauntingly mocked at me and said you will hardly pass term exams,
when you even don’t know basics. Initially I got offended and afterwards took
his words as a challenge and started putting more efforts, soon things started
getting better and gradually my understanding of concepts got better and in
term exams I got good marks and as academic year advanced my performance
elevated day after day. Finally when annual exams came I was very optimistic
and pre-
prepared for exams, filled with
zeal I appeared in exams and when results were declared I got highest marks not
just in mathematics also in most of the subjects in class. This experience
redefined me and presently as I am pursuing B. tech, this experience helps me
in facing different challenges and I can proudly say that my past experiences
act as stimuli to my present and future growth.
