Elements of story : Theme- “Hard times carve best of a man” If we are determined to achieve our goal, we can surely achieve it Point of view- The story is being told in First person point of view as Narrator itself is a character in the story Three act structure- In act one; we see the Narrator shifts to Bokaro city at his cousin’s place. And is pursuing PCM In act two we see that the Narrator is having difficulties with Mathematics subject. He tries to seek help from his Cousin but is mocked by him In act three, he works really hard and this immense hard work finally pays. He gets highest marks not just in Mathematics but in most of the subjects securing top position in his class.
